{"id":30750,"date":"2020-03-16T11:42:31","date_gmt":"2020-03-16T09:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/?p=30750"},"modified":"2020-04-17T14:30:56","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T12:30:56","slug":"skylight-type-ventilators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/en\/blog\/skylight-type-ventilators","title":{"rendered":"Skylight type ventilators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are several types of ventilators for the elimination of smoke produced in case of fire, we have already spoken in previous posts about the louvered ventilator or <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/en\/smoke-exhaust-systems\/ventilators\/lam\"><strong>LAM model<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and the <strong>twin flap ventilator<\/strong> or <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/en\/smoke-exhaust-systems\/ventilators\/dvp\"><strong>DVP model<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, today we will talk about the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/en\/smoke-exhaust-systems\/ventilators\/type-skylight\">Skylight type model<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. It takes this name because of its appearance as it is very similar to a skylight for roof lighting, but unlike these, these ventilators are practicable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These ventilators are made to measure in each work depending on various factors such as the surface required for smoke evacuation or distance between belts, etc.\u00a0 Their minimum size is 1&#215;1 m and they can reach a maximum size of 2&#215;2.2 m. If larger sizes of aerators are required, we would have to use a type of <strong>twin flap ventilator<\/strong>, such as our <strong>DVP model<\/strong> or the <strong>LAM model<\/strong> with slats.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The advantages of Skylight type ventilators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Its aesthetic appearance. If we have a cover with skylights for natural lighting and we place between them ventilators of this type, we will have certain homogeneity in the general appearance.<\/li>\n<li>They have a great capacity of illumination.<\/li>\n<li>It is an economic ventilator in comparison with other models.<\/li>\n<li>They have a high effective surface of smoke evacuation, which allows to reduce the number of these elements according to the total necessary surface.<\/li>\n<li>They have a high thermal insulation capacity, which can be supplemented with the possibility of adding thermal insulation of up to 40 mm, both at the base and at the ventilator door itself.<\/li>\n<li>The base of the ventilator can be prepared both for direct installation on <strong>sandwich panel<\/strong> roofs and with the possibility of finishing off on<strong> deck-type<\/strong> roofs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-30753 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Image-Sandwich-panel-Deck-roof-300x93.jpg\" alt=\"Image Sandwich panel &amp; Deck roof\" width=\"720\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Image-Sandwich-panel-Deck-roof-300x93.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Image-Sandwich-panel-Deck-roof-768x239.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mercorlv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Image-Sandwich-panel-Deck-roof.jpg 817w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The opening of these <strong>skylight type ventilators<\/strong> can be either electric or pneumatic and they have an integrated auxiliary opening system with a fuse and CO<sub>2<\/sub> bottle that allows its opening in case the rest of the opening systems fail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are <strong>CE marked<\/strong> and have undergone all the tests required by the <strong>UNE 12.101 &#8211;
