Last February, the Ministry of Industry, Economy and Competitiveness published the new RIPCI Application Guide <\/strong>(Spanish version only), which includes the execution of the terms set into the RIPCI approved last year, but also the annexes with Application Forms for Maintenance and Installer Companies of these type of services.<\/p>\n

In reference to the Smoke and Heat Control Systems,<\/strong> the guide sets out the application regulation for the correct suitability of the installed system.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the regulation for the Calculation and Design of Temperature Control and Smoke Exhaust System<\/strong> (UNE 23585) has been updated by the Ministry and it was published on November 2017, so it should be considered as UNE 23858:2017.<\/p>\n

The regulation also sets charts about the systems inspections and how to proceed each time:<\/p>\n

Four annexes have also been published with two forms to get the certification as Maintenance or Installer Companies or Workers, as well as the training courses contents for each area and the performing of the Control Organization.<\/p>\n
